Broderick combines multiple columns with jquery’s masonry. It also has a boss image foldover animation.
Special ‘Broderick’ Appearance Options:
- Multiple columns – choose between 1 (500px), 2 (400px each), 3 and 4 (250px each) columns
- ‘Foldover photo post corner’ instead of standard roll-down text
- ‘Floating links’ makes a copy of the links list that fixes to the top of the page when scrolling (see demo), there’s also an option for the links list’s opacity. You can also ‘hide links list’ and there’s a ‘link separator’ which goes between each link on the bar, default is ♦
- ‘Centerize text permalink’, compare both demos too see diference
- ‘Notched captions’ makes a little triangle from captions into photos and videos
- Seamless Disqus integration
Standard Appearance Options:
- Pad capabilities – adds or removes post padding depending on backgrounds (hard to explain but it’s super great, send me a message if you want more info)
- Twitter – show your latest tweet in the header
- ‘Endless scrolling’ with audio fix and ‘scroll to top button’
- ‘Show captions’ toggle – adds or removes the wordy part of photo, photoset and video posts on index pages, they will always be visible on permalink pages
- ‘Google Analytics ID’ – no need to insert the code by hand
- Custom Colours – text, header text, link, foldover permalink, text permalink, background (post, page, floating links)
- Images – title (replaces text title), background (with full sized stretch toggle)
- Fonts – body, title, links, permalink and serif (for post titles)

Sure, add this to the custom css box in the advanced tab of your customize page –

Your ask box isn’t open, go onto your blog’s settings page and enable it and the link will appear automatically
hi, me again :) i’m posting again to let you know that i’ve gotten the theme to work correctly now and i am absolutely thrilled! i love it soooo much, it’s the best theme i’ve ever even seen. thank you so much for creating it! i apologize immensely for my mistake and for taking so darn long to get it installed correctly. i swear, i’m usually not so dumb! i’m glad i didn’t give up because i’m more than satisfied now! :D thanks a million! and again, i’m so very sorry!

Sure! If you go to your customise page, in the pages tab you can make one and either set it to redirect, standard or custom layout. If you click the ‘show a link to this page’ checkbox it’ll appear in the header.
To solve the problem of ‘freezed’ gifs you just have to clear the Caché of the browser you are using!
I just downloaded this theme and like it so far but I am wondering why whenever I post a GIF it freezes and does not work with the theme? Is there anything that can be done to fix this? If you could please let me know, that would be great. Thanks!
gif freezing has absolutely nothing to do with the theme, it’s just how the browser displays gifs or how tumblr delivers them. I’m sorry but I can’t do anything to change that and a different theme wouldn’t make a difference.

The photosets looks weird in the permalink page
I elected to separate the photos in photosets on the permalink page, but since you asked so nicely Kevin I’ve added it as an appearance option so you can have the normal photosets instead if you’d like. I also added some minor bug fixes so it’s worth repasteing the code.
