Robert Half Talent Solutions is representing a strong client of ours that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team in the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area. As part of their team, you will be tasked with overseeing the accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and resolving discrepancies. You will also be required to manage a team of accounts receivable specialists and work closely with other teams to resolve billing and customer issues.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department.

• Supervise a team of accounts receivable specialists to ensure smooth operations.

• Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Service teams to address billing and customer issues promptly.

• Conduct regular reviews and reconciliation of customer accounts.

• Implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the accounts receivable processes.

• Ensure accurate invoicing and billing processes.

• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with customers for delinquent payments.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging and cash flow forecasts.

• Assist in the closing processes at the end of each month related to accounts receivable.

• The candidate must possess at least 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager.
• Proficiency in 3M, a necessary requirement for the role.
• Must have experience using Accounting Software Systems.
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Familiarity with Concur software is required.
• Must have hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is crucial.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Auditing skills are essential for this role.
• The candidate should have experience with Billing Functions.
