Requirements:
#Job Overview
*Performs weld repairs for various aerospace parts and components.
#Minimum Qualifications (Required)
*Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of recent aircraft/component maintenance. (required)
*Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent welding experience.
#Education
*High school diploma, GED equivalent.
*Must be certified for any materials and processes relating to welding of product type and specification.
#Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
*Read and write English.
*Read and follow all work instructions, as well as properly document work performed using documents such as but not limited to, process planning, Engineering Orders (MRB/EO’s), Process Specifications, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manuals, etc.
*Set up, layout, fabricate, and rework finished components
*Inspect welded components for consistency
*Inspect and correct welds as needed
*Use of common tools or equipment associated with cutting, grinding, and welding.
*Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
*Follow company safety guidelines at all times
*Wear personal protection equipment such as specialized goggles, helmets, and gloves.
*Attention to detail
