Job Description

An international IT solutions company servicing the automotive industry located near Plano, TX is looking for a Android Developer with extensive knowledge and skills in Cloud Engineering, SDK, JSON and RESTful API in Plano TX area.

Please note this is W2 Contract position and hybrid position(50% in office). Local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities - Senior Android Developer:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software

Requirements- Senior Android Developer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years experiences for Android application development
• Android Development with MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM pattern, Clean Architecture, Viper and knowledge in iOS, Flutter, React Native, multiplatform is a plus
• Strong knowledge in Android SDK, JSON, RESTful API and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience with Cloud engineering, Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Strong understanding of mobile app design patterns in MVC, MVP, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, MVVM pattern, Clean Architecture, Viper etc.
• Working Knowledge of Unit and Automated testing using Espresso UI Automation
• Strong understanding of code review guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality code and continuous improvement within the development team. Ability to be flexible to work effectively with a wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
• Understanding Japanese Language is plus
