YinzCam is a Carnegie Mellon University spin-off with its roots in distributed-systems research. Our digital products are used by tens of millions of sports fans, around the world, including fans of the NFL, NBA, MLS, NHL, English Premier League, LigaMX, AFL (Australia), and more.

THE ROLE

As an Android Developer, you will need to hit the ground running quickly and be able to have significant impact on our platform and our products within the first month of joining us.

• You will be leading and implementing the native development of entire mobile apps and mobile UI-heavy features on the Android platform.
• You will be integrating multiple third-party SDKs and interfacing with data from backend APIs.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of industry experience with Android native application development, including Android memory management, process lifecycle, threads and thread handlers
• 3+ years of industry experience in Java development
• 3+ years of industry experience in Object-Oriented Programming, Kotlin, Java and Git
• 3+ years of experience in consuming RESTful APIs and interfacing with backend services, including familiarity with JSON, REST and XML
• 3+ years of industry experience in integrating third-party Android SDKs and APIs
• Portfolio of published apps in the Google Play Store.
• Willingness and ability to work the non-traditional hours of the sports industry.
