Provide Comprehensive Anesthesia Care As an Anesthesiologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of patients throughout the perioperative period.
Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient assessments and obtain comprehensive medical histories.
- Assist anesthesiologists in administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance anesthesia services.
- Collaborate effectively with the anesthesia team to provide seamless patient care.
Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Master's of Science in Anesthesiology Assistant (M.S.A.A.) program.
- Active and unrestricted South Carolina medical license.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule: We offer flexible scheduling options to meet your needs and preferences, including:
- 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts (12-hour shifts are typically most in-demand).
- Optional call schedules:
- Second Call: Beeper call from home (10-hour day shift followed by 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM call coverage).
- First Call: 24-hour in-house shifts or 16-hour shifts starting at 3:00 PM (optional).
