Job Summary: Private Label brand seeking assistant fashion designer to join our team.
Responsibilities
· Research market trends and assist senior designer to create stories and mood boards.
· Create tech packs, including styling specifications and filling out BOM.
· Set up fabric boards for client presentations.
· Assist senior designer to set up showroom for customer meetings.
· Create technical CAD sketches and mini body CADs for development.
· Hand sketch flats for initial design development.
· Take notes during fittings and update tech packs accordingly.
· Create PowerPoint decks for customer presentations.
· Prepare for and assist in seasonal line review meetings.
· Generate and maintain seasonal line sheets.
· Upload product information into client systems.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
· Fluency in Adobe Photoshop and illustrator
· Knowledge of garment construction.
· Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
