RTR Bakery in Tustin, CA is interviewing for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pastry Assistant to join our 16 person strong dynamic team. As a Pastry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pastry chefs in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a variety of pastries and desserts. Your responsibilities will include measuring ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, preparing fillings, and decorating finished products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all equipment and tools are properly sanitized and stored. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to follow recipes accurately, work well under pressure, and be willing to learn and grow within the role. Two to three years experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is a must.
