We are in search of a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to build a career in the legal industry, particularly in the areas of complex insurance issues, commercial litigation, and coverage. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of seasoned attorneys, providing crucial support in litigation, research, and client counseling. This position requires at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various complex insurance issues and commercial litigation.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
3. Represent clients in court, arbitration, or mediation proceedings.
4. Provide legal advice to clients on matters related to commercial litigation and insurance coverage.
5. Collaborate with senior attorneys in the preparation and execution of trial strategies.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends that affect the firm's clients.
7. Manage client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex insurance issues, commercial litigation, and coverage.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
5. Excellent courtroom representation and negotiation skills.
6. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
10. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of legal and professional ethics.
