Associate Attorney-Family Litigation

Title: Associate Attorney - Family Litigation

Salary: $130k-$175k/yr

Location: San Diego, CA (hybrid)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Family Litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in representing clients in family law matters, advocating for their rights and interests, and providing effective legal counsel throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law hearings and trials
• Draft and file legal documents related to family law cases
• Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs
• Assist in mediation sessions to negotiate settlements
• Maintain comprehensive case files and document all interactions with clients
• Provide clients with legal advice regarding family law issues
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active state bar license in Family Law
• 1-3 years of experience in family litigation or related field
• Strong understanding of family law principles and practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with mediation and trial proceedings
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
