Job Summary

Wood Herron & Evans LLP seeks an Associate to join our rapidly expanding firearms/defense industry related intellectual property (IP) law practice. As a key team member, you will support patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and IP litigation related to firearms and related parts, accessories, and add-ons.

Wood Herron & Evans LLP will also consider registered patent agents.

We are uniquely qualified to offer a broad range of services within our practice, which is dedicated to Intellectual Property Law. While general practice firms may offer some Intellectual Property Services, Wood Herron & Evans achieves superior results because protecting Intellectual Property is our sole focus. Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

· Experience ranging from current law students to professionals with several years of patent preparation and prosecution expertise. You will be a valued addition to our growing practice, and we are committed to supporting your growth and development.

· Knowledge of Firearms: Candidates must thoroughly understand the workings and use of firearms and related accessories, including optics and ammunition.

· USPTO Admission or Patent Bar Eligibility: Candidates must be admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or be patent bar eligible.

· A strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), with preference given to those with degrees in engineering or other hard sciences.

Required licenses or certifications:

· USPTO Admission or Patent Bar Eligibility
