Oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including inspections, repairs, airworthiness, and records management. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards. Maintain and update the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and ensure all maintenance personnel are trained and adhere to its policies. Develop and manage aircraft maintenance schedules, including tracking inspections, ADs, SBs, and time-limited components. Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA and other regulatory bodies regarding maintenance issues. Manage maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Coordinate with flight operations to ensure aircraft availability and minimal downtime. Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and vendor management for parts, tooling, and outside services. Develop and manage departmental budgets, maintenance forecasting, and cost control. Respond to aircraft discrepancies and AOG events to minimize operational impact.
