Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is recruiting a BE/BC Cardiologist to join an established and busy practice of eight (8) Cardiologists and six (6) APPs. This is an exceptional growth opportunity for an experienced physician or recent graduate to join the market predominant group within a newly constructed facility with plans for further future expansion.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Full time employed opportunity at SMH-Venice .
• Group consists of 6 interventionalists and 2 general cardiologists.
• Position needed to support increased patient demand .
• Be busy day one – you will have a robust and dedicated referral network within the community.
• Experienced, seasoned professional staff who work collaboratively as a team.
• Hospital consult service to include weekend rotation.
• 25 – 30 patients / day in clinic.
• 14,000 sq. ft. office space built in 2021 with state-of- the-art equipment for echocardiography and stress testing. The office also supports MUGA scans and a Coumadin and Pacemaker Clinic.
• The Hospital is equipped with two (2) new state-of-the-art Cath Labs , fully staffed and able to accommodate current and projected volumes.

Practice specialization includes :

• Non-Invasive Imaging : Stress (Nuclear/Echo), Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, Holter/Event/EKG, and Carotid.
• Interventional Cardiology : Cardiac catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Mechanical circulatory support devices, Peripheral Vascular Interventions, Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices, Endovascular thrombectomy

Opened in 2021, SMH-Venice   Hospital is located on a 65-acre campus and features a 365,000-square-foot, 3-story hospital currently licensed for 212 private patient suites, a 61-bed emergency care center, and 8 surgical suites . SMH-Venice was designed with a growing community in mind and a master plan of providing 400 private inpatient suites with complementary sized emergency room and surgery services to ensure quality care and access.
