Bilingual Home Care Aide
$18.75 - $21.25 an hour

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers in ANY other language to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and ANY other language (Spanish, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, etc)
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with privacy, dignity, and respect
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and TB (tuberculosis) test
• Good driving record with a valid CA driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required for driving clients)
• Flexible work schedule, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, WEEKENDS
• Live in the following cities, Orange, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Cypress, Stanton, La Palma or Buena Park

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia Care
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Personal Care
