Summary

Looking to take your career to the next level? As a Brand Manager for regional brands, you will have the opportunity to fully own brand planning. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for planning and executing growth strategies for Hot Dogs and Sausage. You will lead and champion the growth of assigned brands, becoming the subject matter expert in your categories. Additionally, you will oversee cross-functional project management, lead innovation strategy and develop a 5-year innovation plan.

How You Will Contribute

  • Develop and implement marketing objectives, strategies, long range, and annual plans for assigned categories reflecting overall corporate goals.
  • Manage budget, pricing, and trade spend strategy for assigned brand responsibilities.
  • Monitor performance measurements to ensure sales volume, share, and profit objectives are accomplished. Recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual business results and key insights/actions associated with those results.
  • Develop meaningful consumer positioning for assigned brands that create added value versus competition and effectively communicate brand story and benefits to consumers.
  • Develop brand strategies that create consumer, customer, shopper engagement and net household penetration increase.
  • Consistent with strategy, manage the development and introduction of new products in partnership with R&D and key stakeholders leading to a full line of differentiated products, each meeting target consumer needs and offering the highest competitive value.
  • Act as brand leader cross-functionally to ensure business initiatives receive necessary focus.
  • Work together with the sales organization and category leadership to ensure corporate objectives are met and that strategies and programs are effectively implemented at the account level.

About YOU

  • Minimum of 3 years CPG brand management experience; Food and/or Snack Category experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field required. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing and finance.
  • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking with a consumer & shopper lens required.
  • Proven track record in managing and meeting volume and profit targets through creative marketing of existing lines.
