About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading and managing key back-office operations, including finance, IT, and HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of these functions to ensure seamless operations, analyzing financial statements to guide decision-making, and developing comprehensive financial plans that align with the company's long-term goals. This role also involves leading project costing, pricing, and budget planning, managing insurance coverage, and negotiating contracts to safeguard the company's interests. The CFO will be expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards, and lead efforts to optimize financial processes for efficiency. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA or MBA preferred, and a minimum of 15 years' related experience, including leadership within the construction industry. The role requires a proven ability to analyze complex financial statements, a deep understanding of project accounting, and strong expertise in financial planning and strategy development. Experience in contract negotiation, insurance management, and a track record of building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions are essential. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, and be adept at managing multifunctional teams, with a comprehensive knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools is necessary to drive operational efficiency.
