Job Description

A major Medical Facility in Jamaica, NY seeks a Clinical Research Associate. This is a full-time position and is onsite 5 days a week. There will be occasional travel to Flushing, NY.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of multi-center clinical trial coordination, including working with the Institutional Review Board and industry sponsors to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and policies for conducting clinical trials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Learns and understands protocol-specific procedures.

Work with patients, physicians, and other services

Work with industry sponsors

Coordinate IRB submissions for research projects

Mentor other members

Coordinate submissions of abstracts and design posters for conference presentation

Review and summarize scientific literature

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelors Degree Required: Master, RN o MBBS preferred.

CCRC preferred

At least 2 years of research trial coordination experience is required (oncology, cardiology, pulmonary, and critical care experience preferred).

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong written and oral communication skills with a background in medicine/ or biomedical science.

Publication experience is preferred.

Proficient in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Medical knowledge, specifically in Cardiology, Oncology, Pulmonary, and Critical Care highly desirable.
