Soni is currently looking for a Conflicts Analyst to support a global Law Firm. The position is a long-term, open-ended temporary role that sits remotely. The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for the identification, analysis, and resolution of all conflicts requests, using independent judgment and demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business needs when clearing incoming work and candidates. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsibilities: Analyze and process all conflict requests to ensure firm engagements and hires are clear from a business and ethical perspective. Prepare database search terms and create conflicts reports for related parties, including high volume, bulk searches. Perform corporate research to confirm the identity of related parties and address potential conflicts or high-profile issues. Identify existing and potential conflicts by reviewing and analyzing conflicts reports and supporting documents. Prepare concise, comprehensive descriptions of prospective conflicts landscape based on professional conduct rules. Interact regularly with partners to investigate and discuss potential issues and propose solutions for conflict clearances. Requirements: 2+ years in a law firm setting handling conflicts Strong analytical skills and ability to process conflict requests independently. Experience in corporate research and understanding of legal ethics. Excellent communication skills for interacting with partners and firm attorneys. Ability to prepare detailed reports and summaries based on conflicts analysis.
