JobsRUs.com, formerly CorTech, is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for Construction Installers in Syracuse, NY.

$23+/hour DOE
Meals and mileage will be reimbursed weekly and hotels will be provided during out of state assignments.
Travel is required from 2 weeks to 1 month at a time

**Prior construction experience required**

The Installers workday typically includes tear-out and replacement of high- temperature concrete furnace linings in industrial manufacturing facilities. Demolition is completed by state-of-the-art, mechanized tear out equipment comparable to BROKK or excavators. The refractory skills required include, masonry, welding, carpentry, and insulating.
The installer must apply appropriate craftsman techniques in accordance with the specifications and generally accepted best practices.

Requirements:
- Prior construction experience required
- Prefer experience in the refractory, concrete construction, masonry, mechanical & welding, or excavation and heavy equipment fields.
- Experience with use of hand and power tools and work safely in an industrial environment
- Have and wear steel-toed safety shoes
- Able to wear a respirator for extensive amounts of time
- Required to have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Potential night shift work required and occasional weekends
- Travel for jobs is a requirement
