Job Title: General Construction Laborer

Employment Type: 6 month contract

Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a reliable and skilled General Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various construction tasks including painting, drywall installation, floor covering, and light construction. Candidates must have their own set of hand tools and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting with attention to detail and finish quality.
• Install, repair, and finish drywall surfaces.
• Lay and secure various types of floor coverings (e.g., tile, laminate, carpet).
• Assist with light construction tasks such as framing, demolition, and site cleanup.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general construction labor, including painting, drywalling, and flooring.
• Must own and maintain a set of basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on feet for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with light carpentry or framing.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
• Bilingual - Spanish
