The Opportunity: Full-Time OSP Construction Manager

We are seeking a results-focused, proven OSP Construction Manager to oversee all construction operations in the Memphis market. This role is crucial for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, with direct oversight of supervisors and indirect management of over a dozen subcontractor crews.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Project Scope

• Executive Oversight: Direct oversight and management of all OSP construction operations across the market, driving the successful delivery of large-scale FTTH projects.
• Team Management: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3–5 Outside Plant Field Supervisors.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Indirectly manage and coordinate the performance and productivity of 15–25+ subcontractor crews through your supervisory team.
• Project Scale: Full responsibility for large-scale construction projects, typically ranging from 30,000 to over 150,000 Homes Passed (HP) .
• Financial Control: Rigorous budget and schedule management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and timely completion of project milestones.

Compensation & Benefits (Target Market Rate)

• Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 per year (Targeting $100K–$105K for top candidates).
• Vehicle: Company Vehicle + Fuel Card (Take-home use is permitted).
• Per Diem: $2,000/month for travel candidates (adjusted based on city cost of living).
• Reporting: Reports directly to the Project Director (one per market).

Essential Qualifications: Your Career Trajectory

• Current/Prior Title: Must have current or recent experience as an Outside Plant Construction Manager or a directly equivalent senior leadership title.
• Project Experience: Proven track record of managing FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) build projects .
• Large Scope: Experience managing construction projects with a minimum scope of 20,000–50,000 homes passed .
• Management Experience: Demonstrated success managing at least 3–5 Field Supervisors and overseeing 15–25+ subcontractor crews .
• Career Progression: Clear evidence of career growth (e.g., progression from Lineman/Technician $\rightarrow$ Supervisor $\rightarrow$ Construction Manager).
