Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Foreman in daily operations across various home sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
• Perform tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and general maintenance. Trade certification is not required.
• Prepare sites: lay out, document deliveries, maintain a clean and safe environment, and ensure supplies are properly stored.
• Support installation of modules, tied?downs, connections, and other items according to construction plans.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on building structures, fixtures, and equipment, including fixing tiles, plumbing, drywall, paint, and electrical fixtures.
• Manage and maintain tools and equipment to keep them in working condition and available for use.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and assist the Site Foreman in implementing safety protocols and conducting hazard assessments.
• Resolve onsite challenges under guidance of the Site Foreman, providing practical and effective solutions.
• Help achieve Lean Construction objectives for the site.
• Coordinate with team members and departments to ensure timely project completion, communicating any delays or concerns to the Site Foreman.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a handyman role or similar field.
• Proficiency in using power tools and manual tools, with knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent problem?solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus.

Working Conditions

The role requires working at multiple locations as project needs dictate. Must be willing to travel within the region. Physical activities include lifting, walking, climbing, bending, and performing tasks in potentially inclement weather conditions. A clean driving record is required.
