Job Description:
The Corporate Controller/CFO is responsible for the oversight of the Accounting Department and to ensure that all GAAP are followed. The Controller will also have financial oversight of the facilities as the conscience of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
The Controller/CFO position is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller/CFO also has primary responsibility for funding the operations of subsidiary companies, including wire transfers to cover expenses, at the direction of the President of the company.

Minimum Training, Education, and Experience Requirements:
The Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration, and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food manufacturing or related industry. The successful candidate will also be highly computer proficient with experience in MS Office Suite (Access and Excel), Dynamics Great Plains, and/or other accounting programs.

Work Environment:
This position works primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential M&A partners to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
