Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding our IT systems and data from cyber threats. This role involves implementing security measures monitoring for security breaches and responding to incidents to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies protocols and procedures.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Respond to security incidents and provide thorough postevent analyses.
• Implement and manage firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and other security tools.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
• Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Proven at least 24 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles protocols and technologies.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls IDS/IPS and SIEM.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP CEH CompTIA Security) are a plus.
