Overview:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to collect and analyze diverse data sets to create performance metrics and develop policies and recommendations for asset and material management. This position is located on-site in Virginia Beach, VA. Candidates must be local or relocating to the area. 

Clearance:

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

• Must have 3-5 years experience in data analysis
• Experience implementing process improvement recommendations in a military or business context
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Experience developing briefing materials, reports, graphs and other visual aids,
• Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Qlik)
• Experience with one or more statistical/mathematical data modeling techniques (e.g. statistical regression analysis, modeling and simulation, geospatial analysis, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Implement data collection processes
• Analyze incoming data sets
• Develop and track performance metrics
• Develop briefing material
• Assist with other project management tasking as required

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI
• Experience with US Navy operations and data systems

Education: BS Degree in STEM, Business, Economics, or similar field Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
