Job Description
Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Deep Cleaners - Kitchen/Bars to join our team! The Deep Cleaner - Kitchen/Bars is responsible for full detail cleaning of all Beverage and Kitchen outlets, to include full breakdown of all Bars and cooking equipment, scrub cleaning and reassemble of same, ceilings, walls, all duties done by kitchen workers, or any other duty assigned by Stewarding Managers.
This is an OVERNIGHT position.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures
Job Duties - Proper knowledge of chemicals and use for cleaning of these equipment.
- Full detail cleaning of Bars and beverage stations, trash pick-up and supplies deliveries.
- Dismantles any cooking equipment for proper scrub cleaning, to include floors, walls, baseboards, floor mats.
- Clean hoods for ventilation systems inside and outside.
- Proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
- All related duties of a kitchen worker, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, stocking supplies, etc.
- Any related job or directive assigned by Stewarding Managers
- Follow up on all Department policies and procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as needed
Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a deep cleaner in a restaurant, kitchen or hotel/resort setting
Other Minimum Requirements - Bilingual with the ability to read, write, speak and understand English preferred.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
