Job Description

This is a direct hire position. Position is responsible for driving a box truck delivering furniture / displays and dropping off merchandise . Duties also include loading and unloading merchandise. Setting up, speaking to customers. Picking orders and setting up products in the warehouse. Other duties may include inspecting for damaged goods, keeping detailed reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate box truck

• Safely stacking and unstacking goods

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Delivering merchandise, unloading, staging

• Reviewing shuttle list that is filled out by Supervisors.

• Transporting product from warehouse to costumers

• Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring damaged cases are accounted for and the required paperwork is completed.

• Maintaining a clean and organized Warehouse.

• Properly recording open and/or damaged cases and storing properly.

Work Experience

Required Experience:

• Valid driver’s license. (Class C)

• Experience driving a manual box truck.

• 2+ years in a warehouse setting, picking experience a plus.

• Computer literate

• Excellent interactive and communication skills (written and verbal).

• Able to communicate with other team members and supervisor.

• Able to communicate with clients

• Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
