Job Title: Dialysis Technician
Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (extendable)
Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week), Weekends as Needed

Pay: $28/hourly

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Dialysis Technician with a minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient hemodialysis. The ideal candidate will have strong patient care skills, be familiar with dialysis machines, and be capable of managing vascular access during treatments. Experience with Fresenius machines and protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Education & Monitoring:

   • Educate patients about dialysis adequacy measures and vascular access.
   • Monitor and report patient conditions and machine settings to supervisors.

2. Vascular Access Care:

   • Evaluate, cannulate, and manage vascular access during dialysis.
   • Monitor the patient's response to treatment and manage pre/post-treatment procedures.

3. Dialysis Treatment Management:

   • Set up dialysis machines and monitor treatments according to physician orders.
   • Document patient vitals, machine parameters, and address treatment complications.

4. Hygiene & Safety:

   • Maintain cleanliness and ensure all safety protocols are followed around dialysis machines.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dialysis Technician.
• Outpatient hemodialysis experience.
• Previous experience in a hospital or related facility (preferred).
• Experience with Fresenius machines (preferred).

Licenses & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification as required by state or CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services).
• AHA BLS Certification required.
