Job Title: Digital Product Owner (DPO)

Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite)

Duration: Contract (12 months, possible extension)

Pay: $55/hr W2 ONLY , NO C2C

Position Summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Digital Product Owner (DPO) to represent business stakeholders, elicit and analyze requirements, and guide delivery teams in building effective solutions. This role ensures business needs are translated into actionable work items while aligning with enterprise strategy and value. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies , proficiency in Jira, Rally, and Clarity , and strong leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the business as the primary requirements expert , ensuring development teams understand business value, terminology, and priorities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, refine, and communicate requirements.
• Prioritize execution work for engineering teams leveraging Jira, Rally, and Clarity .
• Perform feature-to-story breakdowns to guide development progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage prioritization of defect fixes and releases into production.
• Leverage Zoom Whiteboard or Figma for Program Increment (PI) planning and collaboration activities.
• Adhere to Agile metrics , offering ideas for continuous improvement.
• Drive transformation of the digital messaging platform , enhancements to document technology , and retirement of legacy applications .
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure metrics, adoption, and risk tracking are established for all business changes.
• Challenge and influence business outcomes across all levels of management.
• Serve as a direct representative of the customer perspective throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare the business for change, ensuring readiness through adoption strategies and benefits tracking.
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members and peers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years advanced experience with Agile/SAFe project delivery methodologies .
• 2+ years working with Jira, Rally, and Clarity .
• 3+ years of experience effectively influencing and challenging management to drive business outcomes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to present to mid-level management and medium-sized forums.
• Proven leadership skills in driving teams forward in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to strategically connect across technologies.

Preferred Skills & Tools

• Proficiency with Zoom Whiteboard or Figma for planning and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives (messaging platforms, document enhancements, legacy system retirements).
