Economic Development Specialist:

Delaware County Economic Development is seeking a motivated
professional for the full-time position of Economic Development
Specialist. This position will be responsible for the development,
coordination and fiscal management of the County's tourism
programming. Duties include development of marketing and promotional strategies and partnerships, working directly with businesses, tourism partners and potential funding agencies on the development of new and existing tourism related assets, communication between the County, businesses and tourism partners, budget development and management. The position requires a high degree of creativity, initiative and the ability to develop relationships. Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred.

This role involves analyzing economic trends, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing programs to attract and retain businesses, foster workforce development, and enhance local investment.

The specialist will also identify opportunities to improve the local economy through innovative projects and partnerships.
