Electrical and Instrumentation Planner – Pulp and Paper Mill

Salary $70,000 - $100,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Promotional Opportunities

Major manufacturer in the Paper Industry is looking for a E/I Planner for one of their mills. As Planner, you will perform daily planning activities to support the electrical and instrument technician schedules & maintain preventative maintenance program. Process and manage work order requests. Assign labor hours and cost of parts used to specific asset. Generate reports as required.

As the E&I Planner, your areas of focus will be:

· Responsible for work preparation: scope, parts, skills, duration

· Plan work orders based on the priorities provided by the management

· Work closely with all departments for maximum efficiency

· Manage kitting of planned parts

· Ensure accurate data history for analysis and generating performance indicators

· Support the strategies of maintenance planning, scheduling and execution

· Ensure work orders are planned, documented, and printed; schedules issued based on crew resource availability for every workday

· Validate completed work orders

· Develop improved work methods and procedures to continuously shorten production downtime and to increase overall productivity of the workforce.
