Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an entry-level Accountant to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, MO.

Duties:

• Perform monthly reconciliations including preparing, reconciling, and analyzing AP transactions and corresponding general ledger accounts
• Review and validate invoices monthly with a high level of accuracy
• Purchase order analysis including researching and analyzing all open aged items and perform monthly clearings
• Perform various account reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies/exceptions
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and handle various other duties as assigned

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related field
• 0+ years of experience providing support to financial analysts/accountants including invoice processing, accounts payable/receivable, etc.
• Desired experience working within SAP or a similar tool such as: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Maximo, etc.
• Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi task and work in a deadline driven environment
