Job Description
C4 is looking for Entry Level GIS Technicians to work completely from home. The work is scheduled to start around 09.02.25 and will last a minimum of 6 months and could be renewed at that time based on performance and client need. The client also has the chance to hire you on permanent after the initial 6 month window.
First preference location is given to those living in Tampa FL or Waukesha WI but all locations can apply.
Any previous GIS schooling would qualify you for this role. No work experience needed.
Pay is firm at $19.00 an hour.
Scope of work is as follows:
The GIS Technician will perform a variety of duties, which includes reading detailed utility work order descriptions, interpreting utility maps and sketches, data editing and manipulation and analysis within GIS, project specific specification review, technical documentation, data quality control and assurance. Desired candidate will have strong Esri ArcGIS desktop skills and data analytical skills. Ability to develop and/or change workflow practices due to changing project scope while understanding potential impact. GIS Technician will be able to understand project schedule, productivity impacts, and bring fresh thoughts and ideas to processes and workflows.
