We are seeking a diligent and motivated Staff Accountant with 0-1 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

• Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end closing procedures.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced and accurate.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Generate financial statements and balance sheets.

• Utilize MS Excel for data analysis and financial reporting, including creating pivot tables.

• Assist with financial audits and compliance checks.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables.

• Strong understanding of general ledger and journal entries.

• Experience with reconciliation and month-end procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Knowledge of financial statement preparation and balance sheet management.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focused on accuracy and efficiency. The role may require standard office hours with occasional extended hours during month-end closing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX 78248.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/hr.
