Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to support our mid-level and senior engineers in design and analysis of all types of non-bridge structures in our New York City office. Building and Facility Structures Group pursues a wide variety of projects including public and private buildings, structural evaluations, structural repairs, structural upgrades, waterfront structures, flood resiliency, and transit and rail facilities. Responsibilities Producing engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Assisting with structural modeling and analysis. Assisting with production of structural calculations and other technical reports. Performing structural site investigations, going to site visits and generating the necessary reports. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering is required; Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering is preferred. 0-2 years of relevant experience. EIT Certificate, or ability to obtain within 6 months. Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills are required. Knowledge of structural analysis/design software is required (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, etc.). Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office software. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. A clean driving record is required.

  • The projected range for this position is $81,900 - 84,400 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
