Job Summary Langan is seeking an Environmental/Chemical Engineer to join its collaborative team in Phoenix. This individual will serve a key function in working on small-scale and large-scale environmental land development projects, regulatory compliance and remediation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner across disciplines in a continuous learning environment. Responsibilities Assist with planning and eecution of field investigations and remedial operations by collecting environmental media samples, performing field tests and collecting and recording data; Complete standard logs and field forms; Conduct regulatory and compliance research and prepare permit applications/plans; Complete calcultaions, inventories, and data analysis using standard computer software and models; Prepare technical reports including engineering texts, tables, graphs, and figures; and Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering; 0-2 years of work-related experience; EIT Certification or current registration for the FE exam preferred; Prior relevant internship or professional work experience preferred; Strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent computer model and engineering software skills; Excellent mathematical and statistical analysis capabilities; Commitment to working in a safe and healthy manner; Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation access to remote job site locations.
