Job Description

Wellington Management is seeking a US Equity Trader to execute orders from portfolio managers and analysts across their US book of business, including cash and derivatives. This role involves significant collaboration with global trading teams and aims to enhance client portfolios through effective execution and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute equity transactions using high-touch and low-touch methods for all relevant accounts.
• Ensure orders are executed in line with best execution and risk management practices.
• Gather, analyze, and disseminate market information to identify actionable investment opportunities.
• Develop an understanding of the investment philosophies of portfolio managers and analysts.
• Solicit trade interest from portfolio managers and identify liquidity opportunities.
• Monitor and improve efficiency while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant trading experience.
• Experience with a wide array of instruments is preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a precision mindset.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to idea generation.
• Impeccable integrity and a fiduciary mindset prioritizing client interests.

Compensation

• USD 80,000 - 180,000, with additional compensation components including bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
