About The Role: We are looking for a Finance Assistant with solid accounting knowledge, a strong sense of ownership, and the drive to get stuck in and learn quickly. As our second finance hire, reporting to our Head of Finance, you will have a significant impact on shaping the finance team at Conduktor.
Main Responsibilities: - Overseeing the processing of employee expenses and supplier invoices, ensuring correct categorization of all expenses
- Responsible for accounts receivable, including customer invoices, customer supplier platforms, and cash collection
- Creating bank and balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing balance sheet items to ensure records are accurate and audit-ready
- Supporting financial planning and data analysis, including review of actuals to budget and production of monthly management reports
- Assisting in transforming the finance function into a value-adding machine by supporting the implementation and evolution of scalable systems and processes
Requirements: Required Experience: - 2-4 years of experience working within a finance function
- Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
- Strong Excel and G-Sheet skills (comfortable with data reporting/manipulation)
- A proactive communicator who is detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have: - Experience in a fast-paced environment and/or US operating organization
- Experience using our current software stack: Xero, Ramp, Cledara, ScaleXP, Brex
- SaaS experience
- Multi-entity experience
