Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of forklifts and related equipment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on forklifts, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with forklifts.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Requirements:
- Experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of diesel, gas, and electric forklift systems.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
