Job Summary (Fortinet Network Firewall Engineer):


- Design, configure, and implement Fortinet firewall solutions (especially FortiGate) for diverse client environments.
- Deliver secure and stable network infrastructures through hands-on expertise in Fortinet firewall technologies.
- Configure firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and threat prevention mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues, including high-availability configurations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Utilize Fortinet tools including FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiAuthenticator within large-scale, multi-site networks.
- Collaborate with clients and team members, applying analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment of firewall solutions.
- Maintain and apply current Fortinet NSE (NSE4 or higher) certification.
