Asgard Resources, located in Northwestern North Dakota and Eastern Montana, is a rapidly expanding company specializing in frac sand processing. Since 2019, we have established ourselves as a premier supplier of frac sand to oil & gas companies across the country. We are currently looking for the right people to join our team.

Job Summary:

We're hiring Plant/Equipment Operators to help run and maintain machinery and equipment at our frac sand processing plant and mine which include mining, sand washing, sizing, and drying. Occasionally, this position involves the operation of heavy machinery. You will receive training on the specific equipment used at our facilities. Your main work locations will be in Froid, MT, and/or Bainville, MT, with a new site set to open in 2025 near Williston, ND.

In this role, you'll monitor our equipment, conduct regular inspections, and address any issues to ensure smooth operation. You'll work alongside other experienced operators, gaining insights into the job and safety protocols. A desire to learn new skills and work effectively with others is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and adjust machines and conveyors to keep the sand flowing and up to quality standards.
• Carry out routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on our equipment.
• Perform daily workplace inspections and examinations.
• Assist with various construction projects and other related tasks as needed.
• Always prioritize safety - compliance with MSHA safety standards and practice safe operations at all times.
• Readiness and willingness to learn new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some experience in mechanical, mining, or operating roles is a plus.
• Mechanically inclined with a general knowledge of hand tools.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills for simple math calculations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and do tasks like shoveling and climbing ladders/stairs.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, 8-12-hour shifts, days or nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call, as needed.
• Comfortable working independently or with a partner.
• Ability to work outside in various degrees of weather and in a plant environment with dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
