Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Security for our Executive Protection Detail at Global Threat Solutions. The role involves overseeing day-to-day security operations, managing protection operations, and leading a team of Protection Specialists and RST Agents to ensure the safety and security of our client.

Qualifications

• All active CA BSIS Licensing
• Physical Security expertise
• Experience in executive protection and security management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Certifications in security management or related fields are a plus
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or intelligence sectors
• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field is a bonus but not required

Who You Are

Global Threat Solutions ideal candidate for an Executive Protection Head of Security position possesses one or more of the following experience levels:

• Possess all CA BSIS licenses and a CA CCW. HR-218 is acceptable with the necessary BSIS licenses.
• 6+ years of experience conducting protection/executive protection operations for High-net-worth clients.
• Experience in one a combination of the following environments is preferred; HNW Family, Residential, Corporate, Technology, or Military/L Enforcement Protective Security Details.
• International or domestic field/travel experience.
• Any Emergency Medical Training is beneficial.

Your Role as the Head of Security

• Communicate directly with the clients for all movements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on high-level decisions.
• Plan shift schedules and manage hours. Adjustments will be based on client needs and approved by client.
• Screen visitors and vendors; control all access to the residence. Manage packages coming in.
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients' homes and when they travel
• Provide secure transportation to all events
• Do advance on locations prior to arrival of client
• Maintain teams' readiness to meet any threat
