The Amazon Housekeeper/Industrial Cleaner will be responsible to maintain the overall cleanliness of assigned facility area(s). It is essential that the Amazon Housekeeper supports and integrates Sizemore’s core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities include cleaning various flooring surfaces (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing), sanitizing restrooms, dusting/wiping down office furniture and equipment, cleaning/disinfecting breakrooms, restocking supplies, emptying trash cans, ensuring proper labeling and use of cleaning chemicals, maintaining janitorial equipment, operating specialized equipment, preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, and abiding by Sizemore’s and client’s policies and procedures. Qualifications include high school graduate or GED, prior janitorial experience preferred, problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, ability to work with minimum supervision, must be at least 18 years old, and reliable transportation. Working conditions may include overtime, working inside or outside in various building and weather conditions, extensive walking or standing, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 lbs.
