LHH is currently accepting applications for an HR Consultant for our client located in Twinsburg, OH. This position is 100% onsite and you must reside within reasonable commuting distance to Twinsburg to be considered. This position is open for contract, contract to hire or direct hire. Salary Range $90,000-$100,000 Start Date: Week of October 14, 2024 Summary: As part of the management team, the individual filling this position will administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel in alignment with corporate goals and objectives as determined by the executive management team and board of directors. Essential functions: Administer all human resources functions including but not limited to compensation and payroll, compliance, employee relations, policy and procedure documentation, performance management, recruiting, safety & training. Process all necessary forms or documentation to ensure the company is compliant with all federal and state laws related to employment matters. Process payroll and perform day-to-day related payroll administration. Coordinate and administer all benefit programs to include open enrollment, orientation for new hires, claims processing, invoice approvals and reconciliation, and benefit communications. Maintain the upkeep of the companys documents such as handbook, facility guide and org charts. Coordinate and support the recruiting efforts for all open position; process all applicants in accordance with the companys Affirmative Action Plan including E-Verify Process and document all terminations. Process and document all Leave of Absences Assist/support management in employee performance reviews, preparation and administration of wage, salary, and bonus programs. Assist/support department managers in their responsibilities related to interviewing and selection, conducting performance appraisals, progressive discipline, team building and any potential legal issues through consultation, coaching and management training. Coordinate works comp, OSHA compliance, risk management, ergonomics, and safety programs. Coordinate all employee related events and special programs. Position requirements: ** Bachelors degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience using ADP, Workforce Now is essential. Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment. Strong English skills (oral and written) are essential. Fluent Spanish will be considered a plus.
