Human Resources Assistant JobSummary: The Human Resource Assistantwill perform administrative tasks and services to support operations of DeltaGroup Electronics' human resource department.
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- May assist with payroll functions including time corrections, answering employee questions, and distributing checks.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits/401k enrollment, holiday parties and morale boosters.
- Prepares anniversary and birthday lists for monthly all-hands meetings.
- Updated 10/15/25: Occasional travel of up to 5% - 10%.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent fromtwo-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
Language Skills Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills Must be proficient with MS Office Suite specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
A working knowledge of Access database and PowerPoint are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
