IMT Contherm Operator - Night Shift

 

 

Position Summary: 

Responsible for the operation of Contherm Equipment in a safe manner. Direct the flow of product from Hopper through the Contherm meeting production and refrigeration objectives. Interpret product production schedule to plan daily production goals.

 

· Set up tear down, operate and maintain Contherm operations

· Monitor and adjust Refrigeration control for varying product input and output temperatures

· Perform Contherm preventive/predictive maintenance

· Maintain on-going communication with maintenance and production supervisors and managers.

· Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and possess good leadership skills.

Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.

 

Physical Requirements:

Standing 8 – 10 hours per day

Lifting up to 50 lbs

Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.

Repetitive hand intensive task, tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling required.

Working Conditions/Department Description:

Work in damp and cold environments.

Work with loud and noisy machinery.

Work with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors

 

Education and Experience:

Ability to learn the Ammonia Refrigeration process related to Contherm operation

Ability to speak, read and write English required

Meet the qualifications for the IMT machine operation program

Experience operating, setting up, and tearing down machines preferred
