We are looking for a qualified IT Technician to assist our IT Department. To succeed in this role, this person needs to have knowledge of computer software, hardware, various internet applications, networks, and operating systems. They must be critical thinkers and problem-solvers with great attention to detail. Since end-user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role, excellent communication and people skills are required.
Work with IT team to handle all IT help desk requests, follow up to ensure complete
Report on/track requests for trends/recurring issues that need to be resolved
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
Set up/Manage Network users
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
Review / Approve printer, cell phone, related IT contracts and Invoices
Maintain Hardware Inventory per company/user (including printers, computers, cell phones)
Keep hardware in IT area organized
Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
Excellent communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
