Steampunk is seeking a Project Manager who is creative and is a hands-on expert with delivering innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities will include team leadership for the complete life cycle of solution development and delivery, providing Agile Project Management support and Scrum Master support for Agile teams, coordinating with product owners and stakeholders on prioritzing the backlog, creating release schedules and roadmaps based on assessment recommendations, and establishing technical practices and release management standards that align with the customer's process. This individual will also ensure the team is following, and effective at, Agile scrum processes as well as driving high client satisfaction.

You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and requirements. You will lead specific programs and need to work with internal resources as well as myriad external teams. These programs are all technical and varied in nature. All programs are run using Agile methodologies. Communication, both oral and writte are extremely important to this position. The candidate will produce artifacts such as task schedules, status reports, roadmaps, and executive briefs.

Required:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
• 6+ years managing IT projects using agile methodologies and approaches
• Bachelors degree
• Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
• Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
• Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Experience working in a studio / human centered design approach

Preferred:

• PMP or PMI CAPM preferred
• Previous technical experience

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
