Meyer Distributing is looking for IT Tech Support employees to join our Indianapolis, IN team. We are hiring immediately!

Annual Salary for IT Tech Support:

Schedule:

Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements for IT Tech support:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, Zendesk, Jira).
• Professional and patient demeanor when dealing with non-technical users.
• Understanding of IT security practices and data privacy principles.
• Exposure to Active Directory and Office 365 administration a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues.

IT Tech Support duties include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets related to technical issues via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up and configure new user workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions using tools like Active Directory and Office 365.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2 support or System Administrators.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Assist with IT projects including system upgrades, patch management, and deployments.
• Participate in ongoing training aimed at career development into a system administration role.
