Job Description: The Cybersecurity Analyst will assist in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security tools, resources, and other technology at Shockwave Medical. The ideal candidate will be tactical with knowledge of industry standard best practices and frameworks. You will coordinate security functions and processes to support business operations and ensure the security of Shockwave Medical's infrastructure, data, and network. This role involves working closely with global senior leadership to establish security and compliance practices, oversee daily operations, and address related challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor security operations tools and resources, coordinating with SOC regarding alerts and findings.
2. Assist in implementing new security technologies and optimizing existing ones.
3. Recommend processes, controls, and objectives around information security to IT teams and business units.
4. Stay informed about emerging IT trends including IAM, endpoint protection, web application firewalls, intrusion prevention, encryption, access control, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and network scanners.
5. Perform system and vulnerability assessments related to third-party risk management.
6. Maintain Information Security Awareness training materials.
7. Coordinate with enterprise risk management for impact analyses, understanding regulations like HIPAA, GLBA, PCI, NIST CSF, COBIT, ISO 27001, SOC1/2, FDA, and SOX.

Requirements:

• BS or BA degree preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of IT or Information Security experience.
• Security certifications (Sec+, CySA+, CASP+) or willingness to obtain them.
• Knowledge of security technologies like EDR, Email Security, DLP.
• Familiarity with physical security controls, ISO 27001, SOC audits, FDA, and SOX environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The anticipated base pay range is $73,000 - $131,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. For details, visit
